6×7 Hemp Core Steel Rope is used as a galvanized tension rope and is a product that complies with TSE EN 12385 6×7 = 6(1+6) STEEL ROPE DIN 3055 – TS 1918 / 4 standard. Usage areas can be general rope, tension rope, fishing, chairlift, aerial rope. The general features of the rope are as follows:
Flexible in small diameters, 6×7 ropes harden in larger diameters and are considered hard in diameters of 6mm and above.
It tends to be used for static / non-working applications in these diameters.
When steel core is used, the rope is referred to as 7×7.
A typical example of steel core is 7×7 construction, available in galvanized and marine grade stainless steel
